The Excel MOD function returns the remainder of a division between two supplied numbers.
The format of the function is:
where the arguments are as follows:
|number||-||The number to be divided.|
|divisor||-||The value that divides the number argument.|
These arguments can be supplied to the function either as simple numbers, as references to cells containing numbers, or as values returned from other functions. This is shown in the examples below.
