The Excel COUNTBLANK Function
Basic DescriptionThe Excel Countblank function returns the number of blank cells in a supplied range of cells. The syntax of the function is :
COUNTBLANK( range )
Where the range argument specifies the range of cells in which you want to count blank cells. Note that, if a cell contains an empty text string or a formula that returns an empty text string, this cell is counted as a blank by the Countblank function.
